They all experienced a short course of symptoms, with an average duration of 3.5 months, and 9 presented with nasal obstruction and epistaxis. Nine patients were treated with both surgery and irradiation. [pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Case presentation Clinical history In 2014, a 47-year-old man with a 2-month history of recurrent right nasal hemorrhage and obstruction was admitted to our hospital. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Neurologic
- Headache
When the tumor invades the surrounding tissues, patients present with facial swelling, proptosis, optic atrophy, and headaches.23 The course of the disease generally ranges from weeks to 2 years. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
- Confusion
As a result, it can be confused with other sinonasal tumors. In addition, SNTCS progresses rapidly and often infiltrates other tissues or organs in the early phase, resulting in poor patient prognosis. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Treatment
There are two main types of clinical studies: Clinical trials determine if a new test or treatment for a disease is effective and safe by comparing groups receiving different tests/treatments. [rarediseases.info.nih.gov]
He then visited our hospital for further evaluation and treatment. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
In spite of intensive treatment, the tumor recurred three times and the patient died from a local extension into the anterior cranial fossa 7 years after initial onset. [wwww.unboundmedicine.com]
The histopathologic features for each tumor and the demographic, clinical, treatment, and follow-up information were recorded for each patient. Also, a comparison with previously reported series was performed. Setting: The University of Texas M. D. [pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Prognosis
Cervical carcinosarcoma, characterized by a mixture of both malignant epithelial and mesenchymal elements, is an aggressive neoplasm with poor prognosis [1, 2]. [diagnosticpathology.biomedcentral.com]
Conclusion SNTCS is a morphologically and histologically heterogeneous malignant tumor, and the prognosis is poor. Early detection and surgery combined with adjuvant treatments will improve patient prognosis. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Prevention
Participating in research helps researchers ultimately uncover better ways to treat, prevent, diagnose, and understand human diseases. What Are Clinical Studies? Clinical studies are medical research involving people as participants. [rarediseases.info.nih.gov]
